Craig C. Burger, Principal

Twenty years in commercial acquisitions, dispositions, strategic consulting, leasing, investment and project management spanning all major asset classes. Previously Vice President, Development and Asset Strategy Group at Jones Lang LaSalle, and prior to that a Principal with BullHorne Investment Group, and with Marcus & Millichap. Mr. Burger was also in management with the California Department of Transportation, Right of Way, overseeing 500 commercial and residential assets.

Mr. Burger resides in San Jose, CA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University Sacramento. A father and husband, Mr. Burger is widely known to out-brake competitors on the racetrack, and is also known for his kind but dogged approach to getting things done right, and done on-time.

Scott D. Matkins, Principal

At Magellan Group, Inc. and the Southern California Industrial Fund from 1999 to 2010, Mr. Matkins was responsible for asset management, redevelopment and leasing of industrial, office and airport properties within a portfolio that stretched from Central Valley to San Diego. An Avid LA sports fan who bleeds Dodgers-blue, If Mr. Matkins is not found working, he is surfing, golfing, or listening to something said in French.

Jeremy Cull, Asset & Property Management Specialist

Since February 2016, Mr. Cull has been Asset Manager and Property Manager for various projects within the Comstock portfolio. In his off-time (and sometimes on-time…) Mr. Cull enjoys studying the philosophy of mathematics, various science journals, and enjoying varied and eclectic music including classical, progressive jazz and rock, “cafe jazz” (ask him), and Scottish/Celtic fare. He plays piano, violin and bagpipes with amazing fluency, helping him best multitask no fewer than 25 browser windows at once to the amazement of this co-workers.

Mr. Cull studied Physics at Cal-Poly Pomona.

Erick Vazquez, Financial Analyst

Mr. Vazquez started as summer intern, and upon graduating from college, became a full-time financial analyst for Comstock. Excel-jockey, Powerpoint Professor and overall number-cruncher, Mr. Vazquez focuses on the financial analysis of current projects, refinancings, and acquisitions for the Comstock portfolio. When he’s not working in the office, he’s investigating how to trademark the nickname “The Roc.” A Los Angeles native and fan of many genres of music, Mr. Vazquez is a welcome addition to Comstock in 2019.

Mr. Vazquez has a Bachelor of Science from Cal-State Los Angeles, May 2019, where he was also the President of the Financial Management Association. Mr. Vazquez studied abroad in Madrid, Spain, and he hold various certificates from the Corporate Finance Institute. LinkedIn Profile

Christine Young, Project Associate, Modelo Team-Lead

Joining Comstock Realty Partners in April 2019, Ms. Young’s academic background includes a Bachelor in Environmental Science and Geography as well as Masters in Urban Planning. Ms. Young is a lead on the Comstock team in its project design, planning and coordination for Modelo. With over five years of professional experience, Ms. Young has had many responsibilities and achievements. Her background includes research as Analyst at a real estate research and as intern at the City of Toronto’s planning department. Ms. Young is a native of Toronto, Canada, and has a passion for hospitality, food and travel taking her places in all parts of the world.
